Buildings consume around 90% of the electricity used in Hong Kong. Improving the energy efficiency of buildings not only helps reduce energy costs, but also contributes to carbon reduction and creates a greener city.
Retro-commissioning (RCx) is a cost-effective way to optimise a building’s operational performance without the need to replace existing equipment. It is a relatively low-cost investment which allows businesses to achieve energy saving in their buildings at a faster pace and with shorter investment payback periods.
To encourage your businesses to make your buildings more energy efficient, we have introduced the brand new CLP Retro-Commissioning Charter programme. The programme aims to incentivise companies to contribute towards long-term decarbonisation by implementing RCx solutions in their properties.
Reduce Consumption & Costs
*The subsidy amount is up to 100% of the total project cost, depending on the estimated annual energy saving.
