Special Arrangement for CLP Customer Services: Update

To minimise the risk of the spread of the novel coronavirus in the community, CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP Power) is introducing further special arrangements for its customer services. The special arrangements from 29 February 2020 until further notice are as follows:

Hotline

  • Customer Service Hotline, 2678 2678 will continue to operate from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
  • Emergency Hotline, 2728 8333 will operate 24 hours daily

Customer Service Centres

  • Mongkok Customer Service Centre: Open from 12-6pm, Monday to Sunday (excluding public holidays)
  • Taipo Customer Service Centre: Open from 12-6pm, Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays) from 2 March 2020
  • The other three customer service centres at Shamshuipo, Kwun Tong, and Yuen Long will remain closed
  • Customers are encouraged to manage their electricity accounts using CLP Power’s online services which are available 24/7

Meter Reading Service

  • Most routine meter reading has been suspended from 12 February
  • CLP Power will issue electricity bills with an estimated consumption based upon customers’ previous actual consumption
  • When the meter reading service resumes, the electricity bill amount will be adjusted according to customers’ actual consumption

CLP Power asks for the kind understanding of customers on the special arrangements during this period and advises customers to stay alert to the latest developments. CLP Power will continue to regularly review the special arrangements for customer services and inform customers of any changes.
