1. What are the advantages of using Autopay?

Autopay is the most convenient means to settle your bills. Enjoy free eAutopay Reminder and eReceipt services to your designed email address.

2. For Autopay, what kind of bank account should I use? May I use a bank account with an account holder's name that is different from the name of the registered customer of an electricity account?

Anyone who has a savings or current account with any bank in Hong Kong can use Autopay to pay their bills. The name of the bank account holder and the registered customer of an electricity account need not be the same.

3. How do I apply for Autopay?

Call our customer service hotline at 2678 2678* for registration and it is applicable to customers who have a savings or current account with any banks in Hong Kong. Or simply completet the Autopay Form and it will be automatically sent to your designated bank for processing. The Autopay form is available at our Customer Service Centres / GREENPLUS Experience Centres, you can download it from our website.

4. If I apply for Autopay service, will I have any control over how much your company withdraws from my bank account?

Certainly. You can set a debit ceiling when applying for Autopay, and increase or lower the ceiling whenever you think necessary. Simply call 2678 2678*.

5. I applied for Autopay when I opened my electricity account. Why do I still need to pay my bill by other means now?

Normally it takes 4 weeks for your bank to process your Autopay application. Customers should pay their bills by other means until the Autopay debit date is shown on the bill.
