GREENPLUS Award Sharing Workshops

Practise Energy Saving Initiatives for a Greener City

Since the launch of GREENPLUS Award programme, it has been well received by different trades and industries. Themed 'Let’s All Become Energy Saving Inspectors' which is about the innovative combination of energy conservation and behavioural change. Three sharing workshops were organised in March, the speakers from different sectors demonstrated their best practices in energy saving. To facilitate the participants in joining the GREENPLUS Award 2015, various energy-efficient tools were also introduced for reducing energy consumption, saving cost and increasing competitive advantage.

The sharing sessions covered 'Estate Management Office', 'Social Welfare Organisation and School' and 'Restaurant and Retail'. Last year’s winners in these three categories also shared their energy saving tips. The delegates from green groups including Green Power, World Green Organisation and Hong Kong Green Building Council were invited for a discussion of environmental topics.

CLP also took this opportunity to introduce the scheme of GREENPLUS Award 2015. During the workshops, the demonstration of various energy-efficient products attracted a large number of interested participants, who are willing to achieve energy saving and carbon reduction.
