Business Model Transformation of Central Kitchen

Introducing the Green Culinary Concept at the Central Kitchen Fair & Seminar 2018

CLP Power successfully held its first Central Kitchen Fair & Seminar at Innocentre on 14 Nov. With the support from four major catering associations and the market leaders in the catering industry, there was an overwhelming response with over 500 guests participating in the event.

The event was to create a B2B platform to orchestrate the design of a smart and energy efficient central kitchen, and connect the central kitchen operators, gas restaurant owners and food delivery services providers together to shift food production from gas to electric central kitchens.

This can not only help customers in saving their energy costs but also expanding their businesses with various food provisions. 17 booths from various catering business partners were set up to present the food produced in central kitchens and exchange the views and benefits of using central kitchens among the participants.
