CLP’s rewards programme has been upgraded! The new Domeo rewards platform offers you easy access to abundant rewards including home appliances and lifestyle products. For customers who link your electricity account to Domeo account* now, all Eco Points will be converted into Domeo Points automatically. You can check your points balance and redeem rewards with just one log-in on one single platform. 

Meanwhile, Domeo is now offering welcome gifts# to new members! For customers who register now and link your account(s) for the first time, you will earn 400 points to redeem welcome rewards!

Note:

All (unconverted) Points will be expired if customers have not linked your account before 1 September 2023.

Domeo is the flagship eShop of CLPe Commerce and a reward programme for Hong Kong citizens.

  • Link your electricity account to your Domeo account to have your Eco Points automatically credited to your Domeo account from 1 March 2023.

If you do not have Domeo account

  • Register a Domeo account on Domeo website.
  • Link your electricity account to your Domeo account and have your Eco Points automatically converted and transferred to your Domeo account from 1 March 2023.

How to convert Eco Point to Domeo Point?

1. Scan the QR code to visit Domeo website and login.

2. Click “Link CLP account”.

3. Follow the instructions to log in to your CLP online account.

4. Click "Confirm".

5. Linkage completed. Your Eco Points will be automatically converted to Domeo Points.

2. Click “Register” and follow the instructions to register as a Domeo member.

3. After completing the Domeo member registration, you can link your electricity account to your Domeo account.

4. Click “Link CLP account”.

5. Follow the instructions to log in to your CLP online account.

6. Click “Confirm”.

7. Linkage completed. Your Eco Points will be automatically converted to Domeo Points. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Under the new reward scheme, your Eco Points will be automatically converted to Domeo Points from 1 March 2023, provided your Domeo account is linked to your CLP account. All your earned Eco Points will be transferred to Domeo Points in 1:1 ratio after account linkage. All unconverted Eco Points will expire from 1 September 2023.

        To check your current Eco Points, you can log in to your CLP account through:

Domeo Platform

Eco Points can no longer be used from 1 March 2023. They will be replaced by Domeo Points. Eligible residential customers can earn Domeo Points by linking their CLP online accounts with their Domeo accounts. You can redeem your Domeo Points for products or services on the Domeo platform.

Holders of CLP residential accounts for addresses that have been moved out of, or non-residential accounts, are not eligible for Domeo Points. However, you can use points converted to the Domeo platform previously.

For example, eligible residential account holders can still earn Domeo Points from tasks and quizzes in the Eco Fun mini game. However, moved-out residential account holders are not eligible for Domeo Points.

If your CLP online account has not been linked with Domeo account on or before March 1, 2023, you will not be able to use the point in the account. You need to link your CLP online account with Domeo account, so that Eco point will be automatically converted into Domeo points.

Eligible accounts include: 
(1) Residential accounts;
(2) Valid CLP online accounts; 
(3) Accounts for addresses that have not been moved out.

Ineligible accounts include: 
(1) Non-residential accounts;
(2) Customers without a valid CLP online account;
(3) Accounts for addresses that have been moved out.

There is no difference in the way you earn Domeo Points compared with Eco Points. After opening a Domeo account and linking their electricity accounts to it, customers can start to earn points by adopting eServices (online move in/move out, eBill, ePayment etc), take part in Power Connect programmes, Eco Fun mini games, and yearly Summer Energy-Saving Rewards. 

The only difference is that the points you are going to earn will be Domeo Points instead of Eco Points and the auto conversion only applies to those customers who have existing eco points earned and they have up till 31 Aug 2023 to open a domeo account for their existing points to be converted to Domeo points.

There are several reasons for a failure to link accounts:

  1. A customer tries to link an account relating to an address that has been moved out of. A terminated account is not eligible for linking or earning points.
  2. A customer may have pressed ‘cancel’ during the linkage process. We recommend users restart the linkage process if this happens.

 

If you have more than one CLP online account linked to domeo account, it will be first-in-first-out by expiry date.

^Domeo is CLP’s service provider for operating the Rewards and Redemption Scheme. Eco Points will be converted to Domeo Points from 1 March 2023.
