CLP Technician Trainee Programme provides basic technical skills, on-the-job training and vocational education to help you become a technician at CLP.
About The Programme
In the 3-year Technician Trainee Programme, you will gain basic technical skills in generation, electrical installation, electrical fitting, cable jointing and overhead lines. After that, you will be assigned to one of our engineering departments where you will have the opportunity to gain a wealth of practical experience.
Upon completing the programme, those who meet the company’s specified standards in both performance and work results may be employed as Technician II. Those who continue their studies and demonstrate outstanding performance may have opportunities for promotion to higher positions, such as Senior Technician, Technical Officer, or Engineer etc.
Who Can Apply
Entrance Requirements
Completion of F.3 or above
(Fresh graduates of HKDSE are welcome to apply);
Candidates with Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering qualifications will be an advantage
Remarks :
Applicants who do not fully meet the requirements but demonstrate a positive learning and work attitude will also be considered.
Training Duration
3-year contract of apprenticeship
