By participating in the "CLP One Account Promotion" (hereinafter referred to as "the Promotion"), you acknowledge that you understand and accept all the contents of the Promotion and agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
I. Eligibility
The Promotion is only open to valid registered residential customers of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (hereinafter referred to as "CLP") (based on CLP's customer records). You must:
i. Be a residential user within the CLP power supply network; and
ii. Hold a valid electricity account to complete the participation requirements (the electricity account must remain valid until the end of the Promotion); and
iii. Have an existing CLP online account by October 11, 2024, and have logged in at least once between October 7, 2020, and October 10, 2024;
iv. The offer is only available to selected customers who receive the promotion email during the promotion period.
II. Participation Method
During the promotion period (from November 1, 2024, to November 30, 2024, 23:59 (inclusive of both days)), complete the following tasks:
i. Use the CLP App or CLP website to log in to the CLP One account for the first time using one of the existing and bound login methods (including mobile phone number, email address, login ID and password, iAM Smart, Facebook, Apple ID, WeChat, or biometric authentication) and successfully link the electricity service.
III. Promotion Rewards and Distribution Details
i. Eligible customers who successfully log in and link the electricity service will receive 250 Domeo Points. The points will be settled on the last day of the promotion period and will be credited to the customer's Domeo account within the first 7 working days of the following month;
ii. Rewards will be calculated based on the number of electricity accounts, and each electricity account will only receive the reward once;
iii. All participants must be Domeo members and have linked a qualifying CLP One account to use the rewards;
iv. Special exchange gifts on the promotion webpage or promotional materials are limited in quantity and available while stocks last.
IV. General Terms
- Late applications or incomplete linking of electricity services will not be accepted.
- The promotion dates and times are based on Hong Kong time and the company's server time.
- CLP has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of customers.
- All employees of the CLP Group are not eligible to participate in this promotion to ensure fairness.
- Any matters related to the sale, delivery, installation, maintenance, and repair of any products, as well as the quality of the products, are agreements between the customer and the supplier or retailer. CLP does not assume any consequences arising from this, and participants must contact the supplier or retailer directly.
- Product sales and related matters are subject to the terms and conditions of the Eco Rewards online shopping platform.
- In case of any disputes regarding Eco Rewards and reward redemption, CLP and CLP eCommerce have the final and binding decision.
- CLP may use and disclose the information provided by customers for the operation of this promotion (including for promotional purposes with the customer's consent) and for the purposes stated in the CLP Privacy Policy.
- To meet the needs of processing the above applications, CLP may transfer your personal data to third parties, including service providers hired by CLP for any of the above purposes (including service providers outside Hong Kong and cloud service providers) and CLP's affiliated companies, including subsidiaries and associated companies of the CLP Group in Hong Kong. CLP will disclose relevant information as required by law and may also disclose such information at the request of law enforcement agencies and other government and regulatory bodies.
- Customers must ensure that all registration information is true, accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and must maintain the truthfulness, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of such information without impersonating or misusing any third party's information. If a customer impersonates or misuses any third party's information, resulting in any damage to CLP or any third party, the customer shall bear all related losses, damages, or liabilities and indemnify CLP or any third party for any damage suffered as a result.
- If for any reason CLP cannot carry out this promotion as planned, including computer system virus infection, defects, tampering, unauthorized interference, fraud, technical failures, or any other reasons beyond CLP's control that affect the security, fairness, or integrity of the management system or the normal operation of this promotion, CLP reserves the absolute right to take any feasible action.
- To the extent permitted by law, CLP will not be liable to any person for any loss (whether direct, indirect, or otherwise) arising from this promotion (including but not limited to loss of income, profit, or reputation), damage, or liability or personal injury.
- If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable or deemed invalid by any law, rule, order, or final judgment of any court of competent jurisdiction, the unenforceable part will not affect the enforceability of any other part not deemed invalid.
- These terms and conditions are governed by Hong Kong law, and participants agree to irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
- In case of any conflict or inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail. CLP and CLP eCommerce reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the above offers and their terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
- In case of any disputes, CLP reserves the final decision.
