This year marks the 125th anniversary of CLP. To celebrate the milestone, CLP has beautified the Shing Kai Road Substation located near the CLP Headquarters in the Kai Tak Development Area. In collaboration with Sing Tao News Corporation, CLP has launched the "CLP Substation Beautification Colouring Competition", invited kindergarten and primary school students to participate in the substation beautification project through a colouring competition.
This initiative has deepened students’ understanding of community characteristics, culture, history, and energy conservation, while strengthening their sense of belonging and promoting low‑carbon living.
The competition was divided into three categories: kindergarten, junior primary, and senior primary, and attracted nearly 3,000 entries. Participants added their own ideas and colours to the mural design of the Shing Kai Road Substation, incorporating energy-saving and low-carbon themes.
An award presentation ceremony was held to recognise the outstanding performance and creativity of the winning students.
