Design Concept
The mural design integrates historic buildings symbolising the walled village culture of Yuen Long, unique natural landscapes, and local lifestyle. It showcases the district’s distinctive and rich historical and cultural heritage, encouraging residents and visitors to pay more attention to the community and preserve its history. The mural's primary colours are green and blue, complemented by renewable energy and environmental elements, presenting a vision of a sustainable future.
