2026 Tariff Adjustment

CLP is set to reduce tariffs starting from 1 January 2026. The Average Net Tariff for 2026 will be reduced by 2.6% to HK$140.6 cents per unit of electricity. The Fuel Cost Adjustment will be reduced by HK$6.9 cents to HK$39.4 cents per unit of electricity. The Average Basic Tariff will see an increase to HK$101.2 cents per unit of electricity.

CLP is further stepping up its allocation from the CLP Community Energy Saving Fund to HK$270 million in 2026 to launch a range of community support programmes. These initiatives aim to promote energy saving and decarbonisation across society, support the underprivileged and small and medium-sized enterprises, inject momentum into the economy, and bring together different sectors of society to achieve the carbon neutrality goal by 2050.
