Mr. Eddy Tong has sat on the CLP Customer Consultative Group since 2018 representing the Consumer Council.
Mr. Tong is the Deputy Chief Executive of the Consumer Council. Mr. Tong has been a veteran police officer with almost 35 years of police service and before joining the Consumer Council, he was the Senior Superintendent in charge of the Complaints and Internal Investigations Branch of the Hong Kong Police Force.
