CLP Hosts CLP Low-Carbon Legacy - All-Electric Smart Cooking Competition and Catering Experience Fair on October 9, showcasing the integration of low-carbon cooking, smart technologies, and innovative equipment to promote the adoption of cutting-edge solutions in the catering industry.
Eight students from the Chinese Culinary Institute and the International Culinary Institute demonstrated their skills by preparing both traditional and creative dishes using intelligent cooking robots. The event also featured the latest in food and beverage technology, including an automatic dim sum steamer that saves up to 37% energy, a food delivery robot capable of maintaining food at 90°C, biological wastewater treatment technology for kitchens, induction food warmers with rotating trays, an unmanned noodle shop, an integrated power bank solution, the “Green Mobility” electric motorcycle with ultra-fast battery swapping network. Each booth highlighted how technology can enhance operational efficiency, attracting over a hundred industry professionals to the event.
The event was officiated by Dr. Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, who encouraged the industry to embrace innovation and technology to drive low-carbon transformation and sustainable development.
