Application Process - Electric Commercial Vehicle Charging Installation

How to apply

To apply for the Subvented Organisation Energy Saving Improvement Scheme, you may submit your completed Application Form (PDF) to your Account Manager or communitygreen@clp.com.hk.

Required documents

You shall at least include the following documents in your application:

  • Copy of certificate of registration of school / NGO.
  • Copy of documentary proof of the project-in-charge person (e.g. minutes of meeting, staff card, name card).
  • Copy of documentary proof that private electric commercial vehicle(s) (e.g. electric bus / mini-bus) in used or to-be used for the supply address as stated in this application (e.g. sales agreement).
  • Minimum of 3 quotations or bids for the electric vehicle installation item(s).
Note:

The Applicant Organisation must apply CLP eMobility electricity account with an individual meter for the electric vehicle charging installations under the Project.

What happens next

The programme will run from now until 31 December 2026 and will consist of the following phases:

Acknowledgement

We will acknowledge receipt of your application. Based on your application, we will contact you for more information. For example: sales agreement, service tender document and minimum of 3 quotations or bids for the electric vehicle installation item(s).

Application Assessment

We will contact you to schedule an on-site assessment. Once the application has been vetted by CLP, you should receive your application results. You shall return the Funding Agreement with signed and chopped as appropriate to CLP for your approved application.

Starting on your project

You may award your contracts to vendors once we approve your application. You must complete your project within 12 months of Final Funding Approval.

Submitting your claims

You can choose the subsidy disbursement method when applying:

  1. Funding will be disbursed on a reimbursement basis upon project completion. You must settle all payments before claiming from the fund.
  2. Funding will be directly disbursed by CLP to the contractor to cover the project expenses upon project completion.

Your submission should include the required documents as follows:

  • A copy of the signed contract or contract award notification.
  • Certified copies of invoices & receipt; and
  • Subvented Organisation Energy Saving Improvement Scheme - Project Completion Sheet
Note:

i.  We will conduct post-installation on-site assessment to verify your claims.
ii. Should you prefer the funding to be directly disbursed by CLP to the contractor to cover project expenses, please ensure that potential contractors are informed during the tender process that payment will only be made upon project completion and a post-site inspection.
