CLP Climate Ambassadors Programme

To support students in their creative process, registered schools will also be invited to join the following activities:

1)     On-campus Environmental Talks

• The first 30 registered schools will receive green talk delivered by The Green Earth, each green talk must have at least 50 participants or above
• The theme of the talk is “Climate Change and Low-Carbon Living”, helping students understand climate change, power quality and further promote low-carbon lifestyles
• Date: 4 June – 15 November 2025

2)     Competition Briefing & Professional Broadcasting Training Workshop

• Registered teams are invited to attend the competition briefing and professional broadcasting training workshop organised by Metro Broadcast. The workshop will be hosted by a professional DJ or radio producer to enhance students skills in podcast content creation, voice expression, and recording
• Date: 26 September 2025

• Podcast Duration: 3 to 5 minutes
• Language: Cantonese, Mandarin, or English
• Presentation Style: No restrictions (e.g. talk show, interview, radio drama, etc.)
• Originality: Entries must be original and not copied, and not have been published, publicly exhibited, or previously awarded in Hong Kong or elsewhere. The Organiser and Programme Partners reserve the absolute right to disqualify the participants
• Music: Participants may decide whether to include background music or sound effects. They must have proper authorization for all audio used
• Format: Final podcast audio in MP3 file via Google Drive and recording video in MP4 with a YouTube link
  

(Note: This competition will be judged based on audio works, but for the judging and verification, please submit a recording of the production process)

• Registration deadline: 15 September 2025
• Submission deadline: 14 November 2025

Each theme will have Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up, and two Merit Awards:

Champion: Trophy & HKD $5,000 book voucher

1st Runner-up: Trophy & HKD $3,000 book voucher

2nd Runner-up: Trophy & HKD $2,000 book voucher

Merit Award: HKD $1,000 book voucher

Winning podcasts (Champion, 1st & 2nd Runner-up) will have the chance to be featured on Metro Info and shared via CLP Power and The Green Earth’s social media platforms

Special Awards (Non-thematic, only one winner for each award):

• Most Innovative Award: Recognising entry that share creative, intriguing energy-saving ideas and environmental messages, inspiring the audience to understand the importance of climate change, environmental action, and renewable energy from a new perspective
• Best Teamwork Award: Recognising team with outstanding coordination and synergy in delivering environmental messages
• Best Host Award: Recognising team with engaging and persuasive delivery of climate and sustainability insights

Prize: HKD $1,000 book voucher

All participating schools and students will receive electronic certificates
