Feed-in Tariff (Residential)

To support a greener Hong Kong, we buy clean energy from our residential customers at attractive Feed-in Tariff (FiT) rates.

The FiT Scheme was launched in May 2018. It promotes the development of renewable energy (RE) in Hong Kong by:

Buying RE from customers at attractive tariff rates; and
Reducing the payback period for RE system installations.

Note:

You can still connect your RE system to our grid even if you do not apply for the FiT Scheme.
