*The Love Cake Connect Activity includes a Love Cake Gifting and an invitation to the "Infinite Joy Elderly Party." Customers wishing to make the Love Cake for an elderly individual must purchase the ["Infinite Joy Elderly Party" - Love Cake  Workshop and Gifting] on the Domeo online platform and register through the Love Cake Workshop Registration Form. Please note that spots are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.​

"One Cake, One Heartfelt Gesture: Spreading Love and Warmth to Every Corner."​

CLP is proud to partner with Gingko House to host the "Infinite Joy Elderly Party," a part of the "LOVE Project." This initiative aims to support vulnerable communities by sending warm birthday wishes to elderly individuals who live alone. Gingko House is committed to restore the confidence and dignity of older adults by providing re-employment opportunities and helping them feel fulfilled and valued. ​

Many elderly individuals who live alone often experience loneliness on their birthdays, lacking companionship and well-wishes. Through the Love Cake Gifting program, we aim not only to expand employment opportunities for older adults who are capable of working, but also to ensure that every live alone elderly feels the care and importance they deserve through creating unforgettable birthday party, allowing them to experience love and support on their special day.​

Event Date: April 19 (Saturday)​

The content of the ["Infinite Joy Elderly Party" - Love Cake Workshop and Gifting] includes:​

1)Love Cake Gifting: Upon confirmation of cake purchase, the cake will be delivered by Gingko House. All purchased cakes will be donated to elderly individuals living alone. ​

2) "Infinite Joy Elderly Party" ​

Location and Time: So Uk Social Service Centre，Shop No. 115, So Uk Shopping Centre, Po On Road, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon (April 19, 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM) ​

3) Love Cake Workshop ( Registration through the Love Cake Workshop Registration Form)​

Location and Time: Room Q, 8/F, Camel Paint Building Phase 3, 60 Kai Yuen Road, Kwun Tong (April 19, 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN) ​

*Customers who purchase ["Infinite Joy Elderly Party" - Love Cake Workshop and Gifting] on the Domeo online platform are eligible to participate in the Love Cake Workshop. Eligible participants must complete the Love Cake Workshop Registration Form to register and confirm attendance.​

*Please note that the two offline activities will be held at different locations. Participants registering for both activities must arrange their own meals and transportation. CLPeC is not responsible for any travel or meal accommodation. ​

Attendance: The number of attendees for the Love Cake Workshop must equal the purchase amount of ["Infinite Joy Elderly Party" - Love Cake Workshop and Gifting]. This number cannot be exceeded.​

Purchase Amount: Each customer can place multiple purchases of the ["Infinite Joy Elderly Party" - Love Cake Workshop and Gifting] on Domeo online platform. Each purchase is limited to one participant only.​
​

Certificate of Appreciation: Gingko House will issue a Certificate of Appreciation to each participant who completed the charity activities. ​

Past Connect Activity

CLP jointly cooperated with Promoting Happiness Index Foundation and German Pool HK Coffee Shop, inviting "Hong Kong Single Parents Association" with a total of 40 children and parents to spend a happy afternoon together. After enjoying the delicious Korean barbecue afternoon tea, all participants joined energy-saving talk which they can apply energy-saving tips in daily life and become one of our low-carbon ambassadors.
