As a business customer, you can choose your preferred payment method to settle bill payments conveniently and securely.

For improved convenience, you can pay online without logging in. To check your account number and bill amount, you can get a copy of your bill and read your bill.

Or, you can choose any of the payment methods below*:

How to set up

To set up Bank Autopay, you must have a savings or current account with any bank in Hong Kong. The name of the bank account holder and the registered customer of an electricity account can be different.

For Virtual bank account holder, please consult your bank for the availability of Autopay service before apply.

Online

Login or register your CLP online account. 

Select “Profile” and submit your application in “eAutopay Application

Phone

Call our Customer Service Hotline. Please have your electricity account number ready when you call.

Bank

Submit the completed authorisation form (PDF) to your bank.Some banks might charge for handling paper forms.

Note:
  • As the application takes about 4 weeks to process, you cannot use Autopay for your current bill. Please use other payment methods until we show the Autopay debit date on your next bill.
  • Some banks may charge a service fee for handling Autopay applications. Please contact your bank for more details. 
  • To cancel your Bank Autopay, please contact your bank for the cancellation arrangement.
  • If you have set up an autopay limit at your bank, please check the total amount due does not exceed the pre-set limit and arrange with your bank for any update if necessary.

One touch to a world of convenience.

Enjoy a world of convenience through the CLP Power Mobile App. Through the app, you can:

  • Get reminders when your bill is ready.
  • View and pay your bills anytime and anywhere.
  • Track your consumption to reduce your next bill.
  • Pay on behalf of your parents or loved ones. 

How to pay

  1. Download the CLP Power Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. From the Home screen, click ‘Bill’.
  3. (Optional) Click 'View Current Bill' for more information about your bill.
  4. Click ‘Pay’.
  5. Pay through Faster Payment System, WeChat Pay HK or AlipayHK. 

About FPS

You can use any mobile banking app or stored value facility to scan the QR code on your bill and pay for your electricity bill. BoC Pay offered by The Bank of China (Hong Kong) is one of the mobile application supporting FPS. The app can be used in Hong Kong and Mainland China. 

How to pay: FPS (BoC Pay mobile app as example)

1. Download the BoC Pay mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. From the Home screen, click "Scan to Pay".

3. Scan the FPS QR code on your electricity bill. If you are unsure of your account details, you can check your bill.

4. Once you've checked your bill details, click "Next".

5. Enter your payment password or use biometric authentication to complete your payment.

The Alipay HK app offers a variety of payment services and methods. For example, you can use the app to check your bills, pay your bills, and view your payment history any time. You can also enable automatic payments for fast and convenient bill payments. 

How to pay

1. Download the AlipayHK mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. From the Home screen, click "Bill Payment", and then click "Public Utility"

3. After choose "CLP Power", enter your account number and registered customer name to link your electricity bill. If you are unsure of your account details, you can check your bill.

4. Once you've checked your bill details, click "Pay Now".

5. Enter your payment password to complete your payment.

6. To settle future bills automatically, click on the "Enable Auto Debit" button at the bottom of your "Payment Result" screen.

*To disable Auto Debit function, please cancel through AlipayHK app.

Need help

Please call 2245 3201 if you have any questions about AlipayHK. Their hotline service is available daily from 9am to 9pm. Or, you may visit their support centre for help (e.g. topping up and linking your credit card). 

Link your WeChat Pay HK account to your CLP account to check and pay outstanding bills. You can also set bill notifications and view your payment history any time. 

How to pay

1. Download the WeChat mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. From the Home screen, click "Me" and "Services".

3. From the WeChat Pay screen, click "Utilities".

4. From the Utilities screen, click "Electricity Bill".

5. If you are a new customer, enter your CLP electricity account number and registered customer name to link your account.  
 
If you are unsure of your account details, you can find out your account details on your electricity bill.

6. Once you've added your details, click "Add and View".

7. To settle future bills through autopay automatically, click on the "Enable Now" button at the bottom of the your Bill Details screen.

8. Click "Enable" after you have read and agreed to Automatic Payment Authorization Terms and Conditions.

9. Enter your payment password.

10. Complete.

Please approach your bank directly to pay via internet banking:

To use PPS, you must first register for an account at any PPS registration terminal. Once you register, you can choose your preferred payment channel.

Please use our merchant code “02” to complete your PPS payment. If you have registered for payment receipts, we will send you a receipt once your payment is completed.

How to pay: PPS on Mobile app

1. Download the PPS on mobile app App Store or Google Play and login.

2. Click “Add Bill”.

3. Input merchant code “02” and “Bill no.” to register your electricity bill, then click "Confirm”.

4. Input the “Amount” and click “Proceed”.

5. Check the information entered and click “Pay”.

6. Payment completed.

3. Enter your electricity account number and bill amount.

You may make cash and cheque payments at the following channels:

If you are paying by cheque, make your crossed cheque payable to CLP Power Hong Kong Limited and mark your CLP account number on the back. If you choose to use a single cheque to settle your bills for multiple electricity accounts, please write down your corresponding CLP account numbers and payment amount per each account on the back of the cheque.

You can present the barcode or QR code on your bill to make a cash payment at any of the following locations:

The maximum cash payment per transaction is HK$5,000. Cheques and credit cards are not accepted.

How to pay: Internet banking

  1. Make your crossed cheque payable to 'CLP Power Hong Kong Limited'.
  2. Open the Bank of China's (Hong Kong) e-Cheque Bill Payment service.
  3. Click the e-Cheque Bill Payment option.
  4. Enter the following information:
    1. Merchant category - Public utility
    2. Merchant name - CLP Power
    3. Bill type - '02 - CLP Electricity Bill'
    4. Bill account number - Your electricity account number. If you are unsure of your account details, you can check your bill.
  5. Upload your e-Cheque file(s). 

How to pay: Mobile banking app

  1. Make your crossed cheque payable to 'CLP Power Hong Kong Limited'.
  2. Download the BoC mobile banking app from the App Store or Google Play.
  3. If you are an iOS user, refer to page 6 of the e-Cheque Guide (PDF).
  4. If you are an Android user, refer to page 12 of the e-Cheque Guide (PDF).

How to pay

  1. Visit a cheque deposit machine at any HSBC or Bank of China (Hong Kong) branch in Hong Kong.
  2. Key in your CLP electricity account number.
  3. Keep the deposit slip with the printed cheque image after your transaction. 

By default, we do not provide receipts for this service. If you wish to receive a receipt, please register for payment receipts online

When to pay

To avoid late payment charges, please send your cheque at least 3 working days along with your electricity bill stubs before the payment due date. 

Note:
  • Please do not send cash or post-dated cheques.
  • Mark your electricity account no(s). and the corresponding payable amount on the back of the cheques
  • We are unable to process your cheque without electricity bill stubs and we will return you the cheque. 

How to pay

Send your crossed cheque and payment stub (the bottom part of your paper bill) to PO Box No. 11188, General Post Office, Hong Kong. 

By default, we do not provide receipts for this service. If you wish to receive a receipt, please register for payment receipts online

  1. Bring your CLP bill to your nearest Bank of East Asia (BEA) branch.
  2. Pay by cash or cheque.
