How to charge
A step-by-step guide on how to start and stop charging for electric vehicles at CLP's EV charging station.

Start charging
1. Once you park your electric vehicle (EV) at its dedicated parking bay, connect the charging cable into your EV’s charging inlet and charger socket.
2. Select the connected parking number in charging kiosk.
3. Review and accept terms and conditions.
4. Select your charging duration and press ‘Confirm’.
5. Tap your Octopus card on the reader to start charging.
6. Estimated time left will be displayed in the kiosk once charging starts.
Stop charging
7. Tap the same Octopus card to view charging status.
8. Press ‘Stop’ if you need to stop charging service.
9. Press ‘Yes’ to confirm stop charging service.
10. You can unplug the charging cable from charging socket.
- Push the charging cable lightly and disconnect the charging cable again, if the charging cable cannot disconnect from the charger socket.
- Depending on the vehicle model, users may need to use vehicle side control switch to unlock the power connector before disconnection.

1. Plug the power connector into the charging socket of your electric vehicle.
2. Select the connected parking number in charging kiosk.
3. Review and accept terms and conditions.
4. Select your charging duration and press ‘Confirm’.
5. Tap your Octopus card on the reader to start charging.
6. Estimated time left will be displayed in the kiosk once charging starts.
Stop charging
7. Tap the same Octopus card to view charging status.
8. Press ‘Stop’ if you need to stop charging service.
9. Press ‘Yes’ to confirm stop charging service.
10. Unplug the power connector and put it back to the holder carefully to avoid damaging the device.
- Depending on the vehicle model, users may need to use vehicle side control switch to unlock the power connector before disconnection.

1. Download Charging APP in APP Store/ Play Store. Detail fee-charging price setting, please refer to the APP.
2. Register / Login on your mobile phone. Also verify with OTP to set up your account.
3. Plug-in the connector to EV.
4. Scan the QR code on the charger by using QR scanner in the APP. For any assistance, please contact our Customer Services Hotline at 2678 1667.
5. Confirm the charging details in the APP, including location & fee etc. Then click “Confirm and Activate” to start charging.
6. Finish Charging in the APP and click “End Charging” button. Please be reminded to check the details before end the charging session
7. Pay via the APP. You can choose below payment methods – Credit Card (Master/ VISA/ JCB), Apple Pay & Google Pay.
8. Unplug the connector in EV.
9. Check your transaction history in “Wallet”.
10. Tips: Bookmark your most visited charging stations in the APP.
