CLP subsidies and support for Small and Medium Enterprises

As a commercial and industrial customer, you may apply for subsidies and support to manage your operating costs and energy usage.

How are we doing to support you as our commercial and industrial sector customers?

The CLP Community Energy Saving Fund aims to promote energy conservation. In 2022, the fund allocated for commercial and industrial customers will increase to HK$33 million to help you improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.

 
  • We have set aside HK$30 million in 2022 for this scheme.
  • We subsidise you to replace or upgrade your electrical equipment to more energy-efficient models.  Examples are air-conditioners and LED light bulbs.

  • We have set aside HK$2 million in 2022 for this programme.
  • The programme will provide advanced training on retro-commissioning to over 300 employees engaged in energy management. 
  • We also encourage you to carry out retro-commissioning works at your premises to achieve energy saving, and hence lower your electricity costs and carbon emission.

 
  • We have allocated HK$1 million for this scheme to encourage greater energy efficiency in NGOs and schools.
  • To be eligible to apply, you must be an NGO or school as well as our customers.
  • You may apply for subsidies for assessment fees if you achieve ratings of ‘Excellent’ or ‘Very Good’ for Energy Use in the BEAM Plus Existing Buildings V2.0 Selective Scheme.
